Our Trustees and Trust Executive Group
Trust Executive Group
Jo has worked in the education sector for over 25 years, having enjoyed success in a variety of leadership roles in secondary schools and trust-wide, before joining the Trust Executive Group full time in January 2023. Her experience as a highly successful leader of behaviour, attendance and safeguarding in secondary schools places her in a prime position to support the trust schools in these areas.
Jo is responsible for promoting effective safeguarding across all trust schools, providing advice, support and guidance to ensure all children and young people are protected from harm and that safeguarding practice is consistently of the highest standard. Her ongoing work as a member of Warwickshire Local Authority’s Education Safeguarding Group and as a nationally-accredited Safer Recruitment trainer ensures her expertise remains up to date at both a local and national level.
Jo advises, challenges and supports all trust schools in the ongoing strategic development of all aspects of pastoral care, with a particular focus on behaviour and attendance, training leaders and working collaboratively with Headteachers, strategic leaders and the Trust Executive Group to ensure expectations and standards remain consistently high and that the best interests of children and young people remain at the heart of all we do.
