Jon Baker has devoted nearly 30 years to education, including 25 years in leadership and 20 years as a Headteacher. Passionate about ensuring every child enjoys school, feels valued and develops a sense of purpose, he believes that learning is a lifelong journey for both children and adults.

Alongside his school leadership roles, Jon has served as Chair of the Small Schools Consortium and the Tamworth Primary School Consortium, and represented local headteachers on the Staffordshire Schools Forum. He holds the NPQH, NPQLTD and Postgraduate Certificate and Diploma in Education Leadership.

Jon has also led a number of international Comenius projects, fostering collaboration between schools across Europe. Through his links with the University of Derby, he supports the development of future teachers through student selection, presentations and mock interviews.

Outside of education, Jon has worked with youth groups and charities for more than 20 years, reflecting his commitment to supporting young people and communities beyond the classroom.
