Trystan Farnworth
Trustee, Chair of the Finance and Resources Committee

Trystan lives in Rugby, Warwickshire with his family. 
 
He graduated from the University of Wales.  After a Certificate from the Chartered Institute of Marketing, he embarked on a principally commercial career.
 
Initially, this was with Disney in North America, Omnicom/CPM, and then Britvic PLC - a FTSE 250 soft drinks enterprise.  He spent ten years at Board level roles in both their GB and Irish business units.  He was also spent time chairing Britvic's European Works Council, and was inaugural Executive sponsor of Britvic’s ‘B-Diverse’ network, which promoted diversity and inclusion across the business.
 
In 2004, he set up his own consultancy business, advising a range of clients, from small start-ups right through to the world's largest food brand owner- Nestle.  
 
Trystan joined us as a Trustee driven by deeply held belief that everyone deserves a great and fair start in life, regardless of any background – and a conviction that well-led, empowered, community-based schools can make a huge positive impact on individuals, cultures and economies at large. 
 
He brings to the board subject matter knowledge, in particular of commercial, marketing, strategy, change management, turnaround and sustainability.
